Sorry my DA is so neglected. In all truth though, I've been sort of a recluse lately; away from social internet and most social environments. In fact, the only people who see me consistently are my school buddies, my coworkers, and those who I see through church/church events. SO...SORRY EVERYBODY. (Lame)
(Not that anybody probably cares anyway, but for the record I've been completing the second semester of A&P, helping student teach the first semester of A&P (or TAing, whatever you wanna call it), as well as taking Nutrition online. I work about 30 hours a week at the bank, go to a small group, and to church every Thursday night. I've also been exercising consistently, three hard cardio, one-two easy cardio, a week, and modifying my diet. So far, I've lost about 7 lbs over a three week period--here's to week four! My goal is to weigh less than I did in high school (130), with a goal weight of 120, unless it feels unhealthy. But we'll see.
But you guys aren't watching me for my life story, so here's an art update: I've been drawing on and off, mostly anatomy doodles for homework and lecture, but also some fun stuff on the side. I always know when I've been away from art for a time when my sketches start showing up on notebook corners, scraps of paper, sticky notes, and rarely--an actual piece of sketchbook paper. On the art front, I've mostly been devoting my time to sculpting. I pretty much perfected my Phoenix Wright badges, cast a mold, and have about 7 finished products with 5 more on the way. I'll be selling them for $7 each--charm or brooch. Charms include a free strap color as well. I will post more details once I have my Etsy shop up. However, I'm going on a shopping lent this month as an act of "giving up a vice". We're all doing it as a church; everybody chose something different. Voluntary, of course. But, since I've also been budgeting and collecting a savings, I thought it would be another good act of discipline--the next step in further rationing my money supply. So for the next four weeks, I'll only be buying groceries and paying bills. I might have a treat out once in awhile, but nothing non-food related. IT'S GONNA BE TOUGH.
I have also been working on (finally) finishing my Mia Fey cosplay, as well as starting on one for Oerba Yun Fang. So far, I have all the supplies I need for Fang's necklaces and jewelry--bracelets, arm band (finished), earrings, and both necklaces--so I might post pictures of those once they're all finished and I have my wig. I bought Mia's shoes today and will be fabric painting them white very soon. I have Mia's dress cut and ready to sew; now it's just figuring out the quirks of my brother's sewing machine. T_T Oh well...just something else to do with the little time I have.
I have also been replaying FFXIII, and tonight just finished Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, which is a fantastic series worth watching. And with whatever time that remains, I color my Ivera drawing on the computer. Poor, poor Ivera. ILU.
Alright people; hope everyone's well, as always. Feel free to ask for contact info. Or add me on FB!
